SCOPA RAF ENGAGEMENT
24 JULY 2026
Hosted by the Association for the Protection of Road Accident Victims (APRAV) Convened as a Constituency Work engagement in terms of Parliament’s constitutional mandate.
Seating is strictly limited to 150 delegates.
SCOPA’s inquiry into the Road Accident Fund has been one of the most consequential parliamentary oversight processes in recent South African history. On 24 July, the Chairperson who led it will sit in the same room as the industry that bore the weight of it. Hon. S.S. Zibi, MP, will address the session in full: what the inquiry found, what it means for the industry, and what Parliament now expects to follow. This is a direct account, from the Chairperson himself, of one of the most significantoversight processes the RAF has ever faced. Attendees will have the floor to put their questions directly to Hon. Zibi. The session is convened as a Constituency Work engagement, in fulfilment of Parliament’s constitutional mandate to engage with the communities its oversight work affects. It is hosted by APRAV.
This session has been convened for the following stakeholder communities:
